Here are some theme ideas to get your imagination going: a favorite sport, cartoon, hero, animal, movie, a hobby, a beloved stuffed animal or toy, a logo of a special place like a college or place of business, a well loved book, a sign from a place they like to visit, or in the case of a birthday it could be the number they are turning.  If these ideas are not helpful to you try looking around the web site and build off one of those ideas.

Add A Little Personalized Something...

You can personalize the cake instead of, or along with, a theme by adding a special saying, the recipients name, a nickname the person is known by, or just text related to the event you are having.  Remember that if you don't want the text directly on the cake you are creating if can be put on the cake board around the cake.

Helpful Tips For All Occasions

INGREDIENTS:  All though there are no nut products put directly into our cakes they are made in a kitchen that handles nuts so please keep this in mind with regard to allergies.

CAKE SIZE:  We will work with you and your individual design and create the cake you have in mind for the number of people you would like to feed. 

FILLINGS:  Fillings can be put in any cake.  For a typical one layer cake we will create two smaller layers so that your filling may be added.

CAKE CUTTING:  You may not even consider the cake cutting part of the event but if you ask for a tricky cake it may also be tricky to cut.  It's just something to keep in mind when planning your special day and how it will work into your event.  If you are worried about this, ask about the cake you have in mind and we may be able to make some suggestions.

HOST/HOSTESS GIFT:  If you intend your cake to be a gift shared at a party, it should arrive beforehand, allowing the host or hostess ample time to set out the cake and any other accessories he or she may need.  You may also wish to send a cake a few days after a party as a thank you gift.

GET WELL:  A cake is an appropriate and thoughtful gift idea that the receiver can share with visitors and well wishers and we can even deliver to some hospitals for you.  This can be a great treat for the patient and gives him or her something to share with family, visitors or even their medical staff.  It is a good idea to check ahead of time to make sure that the patient is able to enjoy the cake as well if you intend it to be a surprise you can call their nurses station.
